Privacy
What we keep, and what we never do.
Short version: your notes are yours. We never sell them and never share them with stores or advertisers.
What we keep
- Your account: email (and phone, if you add it), first name, time zone, and which emails you want.
- The people you buy for: the first name or nickname you give them, quiz answers, dates and your notes.
- What you tapped: which picks you opened, so we know what to show next and which stores to thank. IP addresses are scrambled (hashed) before we store them.
We don't store home addresses, and we don't need her last name. Ever.
Your notes stay private
Notes describe someone who never signed up, so we treat them carefully. They are visible only to you. They are never sold, never shared with stores or advertisers, and never used to train anyone else's AI models.
Our AI, and its stand-in
The AI that ranks picks and reads your notes normally runs on servers we own. While that server is down, Claude, an AI from Anthropic, stands in for those two jobs. It gets the note text and the gift details only. We swap the person's first name for a placeholder before sending, and never send your email, phone number or photos. Anthropic does not train its models on what we send.
Photos and texts
Snap a photo of a gift idea and our own model, on our own hardware, writes a short description of it. We keep the description as a note and delete the photo. If you add your phone, we keep it to match your texts to your account, and you can reply STOP anytime. Texts and photos you send by text travel through your phone carrier and our texting provider (Telnyx) to reach us, like any text message; once here they are handled like the rest of your notes.
Reminders and deal emails are separate choices. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. Sign-in codes always go out because, well, you asked for them.
Export and delete
In Settings you can download everything we have about you and your people in one file, or delete your account. Delete means delete: your account, your people, your notes, the facts we pulled out of them, and the AI logs tied to them.
Cookies
We use a few small cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms. No ad trackers, no third-party analytics.

Ultimate Family is for adults 18 and over.
Changes
If we change anything that matters here, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
